La Isla Inn Hotel - How to get to us?

Already the journey to our
tropical paradise is a little
adventure through the different
vegetation zones of Costa Rica.

Our La Isla Inn is located at Playa
Cocles, about 1,5 km south of
Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean
Coast of Costa Rica, closed to
the border to Panama.
                            
There are several ways to get here. You can:
 

Travel by public bus From San Jose
(Terminal Caribe) there are departing 4-5
buses daily to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.
The journey takes about 4,5 hours. You
have to get off the bus in Puerto Viejo. Then
you can either walk the 1,5 km to us at Playa
Cocles (about 25 minutes) or take one of
the taxis that are usually waiting at the
bus stop for their guests.

Book a shuttle transfer Several transfer
companies offer their services up to twice
a day (depending on demand) at a fixed

Hire a private transfer Hiring a private transfer allows you to
travel more conveniently with an individual time schedule.

Rent a car and drive In Costa Rica there
are a lot of car rentals, where you can
rent a car corresponding to your
expectations. Travel time to Puerto Viejo
from the capital San Jose is approximately
4 driving hours.
